Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin, a Canadian-New Zealander actor. Paquin, who was raised in Wellington however was born and bred in Winnipeg was first seen in the acting world in The Piano. At age 11, she became an infant Academy Award winner ever for Best Actress. Anna Paquin spelled out Anna Helene Paquin was born in Winnipeg, Canada on the 24th July of 1982. She is a Canadian-born actress from New Zealand. She was cast as Flora McGrath the daughter of a blind Scottish pianist who, in the late 19th century relocates into New Zealand for an arranged wedding when she answered an audition for open casting; she was nine years old, and had no prior experience in acting. As a teenager the family relocated from Canada and eventually to United States. Paquin played Jane Eyre's protagonist as a teen in Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre (2000) and the lead role in Fly Away Home (2000). Paquin was Frankie Addams from a television film adaptation of Carson McCullers's novels The Member of the Wedding (1997). Paquin had a supporting role as The Queen of Spain Steven Spielberg's Amistad (1997. The actress played teens in the films of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) and portrayed the Polexia Aphrodisa groupie on the screen in Almost Famous (2000).
