Sara and Lorraine

Sara Lynn Evans was born February 5 1971 and raised on a family farm close to New Franklin Missouri as the youngest of seven kids. At the age of five, music was the mainstay of her life. At the nightclub in Columbia Missouri, she started playing when she reached 16 years old. The show lasted 2 years. Then she moved from Missouri to Nashville Tennessee in 1991 with the intention of becoming a singer-songwriter. Sara was singing a song of Harlan Howard's Tiger By the Tail in County Q Studios when he heard her. He chose to have Sara perform his tunes. She signed with RCA.
